With each Pix-Star 15-inch digital photo frame, you can send and play 2-minute video clips and audio recordings. While this may not seem like much, it’s more than almost every other competing digital frame on the market.
For reference, Skylight and Nixplay frames don’t support video playback without paying for their “Plus” subscription. Aura’s frames don’t support video or audio playback at all. Dragon Touch’s frames only let you play videos with a maximum length of 30-seconds or less.
Pix-Star allows you to include video clips in slideshows alongside your favorite photos. Videos are saved locally on the frame and to the Pix-Star cloud (you get free-for-life cloud storage). You can play audio files over slideshows from a connected USB/SD card. You can’t store audio files on the frame’s internal storage.
