Brookstone digital picture frames<\/a> are quite expensive when you consider what they can do. Compared with other top frames on paper, Brookstone\u2019s frames don\u2019t seem too bad \u2013 but the differences show when you look at the real-world performance. Brookstone\u2019s frames have a lot of issues when it comes to sending photos to one frame from several different sources, their frames don\u2019t have the greatest durability, and there is no web interface.The biggest complaint that these frames get is that they don\u2019t receive photos well. They\u2019re meant to be able to receive photos from anywhere in the world using the PhotoShare app \u2013 but there are several critical issues. A major problem shows when several people try to send photos to the same frame from their respective apps. The photos tend to only show from the first user to send, with all the other received photos not being included in the slideshows.Slideshows don\u2019t have the greatest level of versatility either. You can send videos and pictures to Brookstone digital picture frames by USB\/SD card or through the PhotoShare app. The photos, video, and audio loaded to the frame via USB\/SD card need to be in a supported format and on a compatible USB\/SD card. Note that you can\u2019t always play slideshows directly off the USB\/SD card and may need to copy its content to the frame\u2019s internal storage.Photos sent via the PhotoShare mobile app are received on the frame via its unique email address. This works much like the Pix-Star\u2019s system \u2013 though isn\u2019t quite as versatile. You can only send 50 photos in one go and can send up to 10 frames at the same time. Do Brookstone digital picture frames come with a mobile app or web interface?<\/h2>

Brookstone digital picture frames come with access to the PhotoShare mobile app. It works on both iOS and Android, though isn\u2019t quite as versatile as the Pix-Star frame\u2019s app (Pix-Star Snap). At times, you\u2019ll struggle to receive photos from several users\u2019 PhotoShare apps. This is an ongoing issue that has yet to be fixed.Brookstone\u2019s digital frames don\u2019t have access to a web dashboard or interface. Photos are only sent via the mobile app or directly to the frame by USB\/SD card. This means there is no way to remotely control or manage the frame\u2019s storage and\/or settings.<\/p> <\/div>

These frames can play 15-second video clips. That being said, sending videos to the frame can be very buggy. It seems the system hasn\u2019t been fully worked out yet. There are several complaints that the audio for videos is far too quiet and can\u2019t be heard unless you stand directly in front of the frame\u2019s speakers.
